Science Storytime with Rubella Wonder

Have you ever wondered about how the world works? How does a tree grow big and strong in a forest? Do salamanders have secret parties with talent shows? Why we should protect trees in the rainforest? Can scientists be sparkly and colorful?

Well, join our very own sparkly scientist Rubella Wonder to find the answers together through Science Storytimes! Come together to listen to family-friendly stories about the natural world, learn a lesson or two, make a fun craft, and do some coloring!

Rubella loves to share the beauty and magic all around us, so join in and together we can make learning fun! Explore the natural world through the power of books!

Nighttime Firefly Walks

Our local firefly expert will lead nighttime walks to experience the pure magic of fireflies! Western North Carolina is a hotspot for these beautiful bioluminescent beetles, so come learn about the local diversity, life cycles, behaviors, and biology of fireflies and witness these one-of-a-kind light shows!

Silly Stories with Syd Science

Come listen to some silly stories with our local make-believe master, Syd Science!

When they're not scouring the seven seas with a band of silly scallywags, Syd loves to share stories of love, acceptance, and embracing your authentic self!
